Ive just got a PS3 today but I cant get the update to download. The earthnet cable is plugged in but the download will not start.

Does any one know why this is? Is there some thing wrong with the sony server? or what ever server the download is on?

(I could do without the smart arse comments from people too, who have no real help)

I got it working, it was the earthnet cable, must have been a dud. I didn't realize that the PS3 had a built-in wireless card, so I used a wireless connection.
