i am brand new with this just got it the other day and need lots of help.

when my enemies see me they have to reload there guns and then they run straight at me without taking cover or anything. and what gets me the most is they have to reload which makes them easy targets and the game gets boring.

Search for Sensei on the forums. It is a collection of scripts that will help you over come the IAs being stupid. They are free. You can experiment with it to get the results you want.

thenoob,

Welcome. The scripts included with the program are to get you started and allow you to make a game with no coding knowledge required. If you want a good game, you'll have to put some time and effort into learning the language and lots of experimenting.

There is a wealth of knowledge here if you read the stickies and use the search function near the bottom of the page. Take some time to look around and read all you can, especially the manual in the programs folder.

If you put forth a little effort, you will find many helpful people here.

Happy game making.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

Amen to that, xplosys.

@thenoob, you can set the enemies' main script to snipe.fpi, and their shoot script to shoot.fpi.

I was wandering...... I know that having the snipe.fpi in the main means that they don't have to reload their weapon first.

But I was thinking..... is there any line I could add to pace.fpi so that they walk around with a "loaded" weapon???

But until then snipe.fpi/shoot.fpi will have to do.

Slayer222, please elaborate.

And I can't use sensei, I'm going to jump on the bandwagon and get 1.05RC2

Go here and it will have what you need if you want to learn the programming language of FPSC.

Go here and it will have what you need if you want to learn the scripting language of FPSC.

And then there is the scripts forum for FPSC and the manual for FPSC.

Thats pretty much all there is for resources unless someone has created something new.

Good luck.
