If you can't find assessments online, try creating your own, make up an essay question, or something like that and answer it, that's one revision technique that works for me, because the more I write the words, the more they stick in my head, try something that promotes thinking and writing. Should help

Just ask for past papers thats how I revise for exams.

If you can do every question on a past paper you're gona ace the test.

it's not that kind of final, it is a practical final. My professor said that she will give us clients and have us write the methods for it.

Danger Will Robinson!

Practicle exams are the pits.

We recently had one using 3 of 4 different kinds of CGI languages, no-one passed it because you have to remmber the syntax perfectly in 3 languages to get them to run. Lecturer said he wouldn't pass students unless 2 of the 3 answers ran!!! All the students complained and the lecturer got in trouble with the exam board for running an exam like this and we were graded on our assignments and homework instead. (luckly, phew!)

At least if you only have to remember one language it might be possible. Just keep coding until you know it back to front.

Your teacher gave you no material to go over for the final? I doubt you'll find many tests online for intro java courses as most are designed for ppl getting ready for certification.
I've studied java for several years, but without knowing what your final covers I can't suggest very much for you.

Yeah, java is a very broad language. It's a bit annoying when looking for examples that there are 3 different windows programming modes Applet, AWT and erm SWT

Anyone thinking of working in Java.. my best advice is forget working in DOS with notepad download Eclipse IDE instead
