Can anyone point me to sites that i can download free web filtering programs? Trying to help my mother-in-law with her 12 year old son and his friend from accessing porn sites, i'd prefer one's where you can make your own key-word filter, they don't have to be ones that are made to stop tech-savvy teens as they are not tech-savvy (yet).

Look for Blue Coat K-9 Web Protection. It's a rating system so you can choose what it blocks.

I have no signature...

I've been working on a simple filter, but its not the greatest. If you want to try it out, just email me.

If you use an ADSL router you might have this feature built in there.

I know it's standard on my Netgear DG834PN at least

I'd just buy one for £/$30 as it's not that much money and the quality of the product will be higher than freeware.
