Can you load a shader file onto a matrix? I have looked all over the forums and have found nothing on this. What I want to do is have a water shader on the matrix water effect. Here is the link to the effect im talking about http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=103714&b=6
Can someone mabey give me a sample code with the fresnal water shader on the matrix water effect? I am having a very hard time figuring out how to this. Any help would be extremely appreciated.

I'm no expert with shaders and DBPRo, but to the best of my knowledge, a shader can only be applied to an object - not a matrix.

So, you need to create a plain object and position it on your matrix correctly - then apply the shader to it.

Does your GFX card support the shader you are using?

I am pretty sure. I have a GeForce 7900. I have also run the ultimate shader pack and they work perfect. Also here is my code that i tried to use for doing the shader.

Yes, the 7900 should be OK.

I've not got any of the files you have, but just a thought from looking at your snippet...

You are using:

xrotate object 55,270

You're not flipping the plain upside down and looking at the bottom of it are you?

Does it do the same with:

xrotate object 55,90

OK - so what was it you did - for the benefit of others who might have the same problem in the future?

I take it that the 90 degrees rotation instead of 270 didn't fix it?

I added these commands.

I also tried a different water shader to . I am not sure why but different shaders seem to respond differently to different commands.
