So does DBPRO X10 work with Geforce 8600 series when it comes out? Geforce 8600 is new cheaper DX10 card... So i was thinking about buying this and not the 8800 series card wich is over 500e :E

There are no plans to release an X10 version of DB Pro, so the question will very quickly become irrelevant as the cards progress.

Isn't FPSC X10 based on DBP? If so, DBP had to be updated, and I seem to remember seeing some utube stuff about the new code.
They may not plan to have a DBP DX10, but why not, given that is where we are headed?

I imagine there will be an x10 version of dbpro eventually.. why wouldn't they? Especially if FPSC x10 is still built off dbpro.

I think I read that dbp will not be DX10 but a new product, basically the same as dbp. I think tgc wants to start making money again, I mean they give use so much in updates.

Yeah, thats what I was hinting at. I think BatVink was making a cunning remark. ie. it's not DBP X10, but Super Brillo Programming Language 2.0 (or whatever).

And yeah, can't really expect DBP to remain the most advanced language for much longer. Same thing happened when we all used DB.

Despite my devious nature, there was nothing cunning this time. I think the DBP X10 video thread mislead people into thinking that a new version was on the way. I don't believe it is, especially when you consider the efforts that are being put into FPSC X10 right now.
