Modern US soldier (desert Camo)
Modern British soldier (jungle camo)
Modern US soldier (jungle camo)
Riot/Swat Policeman

I brought this up before and my post didn't show, Isn't it a violation of copyright to have any part of the original image showing, doesn't it have to be a total texture not a partial paint or slight altering, that is if it is to be re sold. whats the copyright deal on this one, I'm curious here.

Yep; you've got to re-texture the entire original, in order to market it (or even give it away). So far, I can still see the original face and boots.

Hmm i have changed the boots! Its just the face and hands, which i will change now, thanks for informing me, but ive seen plenty of retextures that have still had original bits showing on the forums, i mean look at the sheer number of zombie colonel x's there has been!!! But yes i will make those changes thanks for informing me

Sure, but those people aren't trying to sell them. Many of the re-textures I've seen that haven't changed the texture much, have been removed from the forums.

hes now a black man ill show you, im not too keen on the gloves so i might just change it back to hands, but ill do a black soldier and a white soldier i think! Yes the face was royalty free when i found it, i made sure of it, i got it off a 3d designers resource site with some cool programs and packs on it

ok i think ive been posting a little too much on this subject and i can imagine ppl will lose interest fast so this is my last one for a day or two, at least until ive got something great and substantial to add, heres the white soldier, i just tested them out in battle, looked cool, this poor guy took a bullet. He doesnt look as good as the other two but i think its given me a range of characters

Lose the TA sig, for those that are not from the UK it means territorial army, they are volunteers that occasionally do soldiering training at the weekends, they are not full time professional soldiers.

I actually take that as quite an offense.
TA soliders are just as well trained as any other soldier. Once my father had left the coldstream guards battalion (The guys with the huge hats at Buckingham Palace), he joined the TA to carry on with what he believed was right. He then trained every weekend, correct, but he was just like any other soldier. There are TA soldiers out in the field in Iraq and Afghanistan as I type this. Personally, I believe that the TA are a much more inspiring group... They have one weekend and every tuesday to train. Full time soldiers live at training camps all the time.

Urgh... anyway, sorry i just felt I had to inoform, so that next time he can say something like that, he actually knows what he's talking about..

On topic;
I was thinking, will you be basing the hooligan on the Thug model in WW2?

I think that is like saying the National Guard here in the US are just "weekend warriors".
They get the same training as full time soldiers.
And,as I am sure Keith will attest to,they get deployed like full time soldiers when there is military action.
All of the men and women of the military deserve our respect regardless of whether they are full time or part time soldiers.

Most likely yes, as he is the only one without a hat/helmet lol

Yeah i have a friend in the TA and he said they actually do send TA soldiers to Iraq/afghanistan etc... its basically just so people can still work around their everyday lives while they integrate into the army, the TA is soon to be made part of the full time army too apparently

Greetings. Nice effort on this pack. I'm eager to see it, as it progresses.

Thanks,
