Hello again all...
Excuse the strange title name - I added some keywords to aide searchers
Here we have a retexture of the WW2 Tommy. (See attached for screenshot.)
Will post texture in next post.

RULES OF USAGE

I would also appreciate feedback. Its only fair since I made this for you.
This is my first retexture, but im obviously fairly advanced with photoshop.

Here is the file. Unzip to WW2/characters folder, and when you place the Tommy character in game, change the texture to this one.

Also, can a mod please tell me;
Can I upload the version without face paint. I read somewhere I wouldnt be able to, since its not modified..
Let me know please,

Dan

Looks real nice, Smitho. Sort of a shame though about the distinctive shape of the tommy helmet.

Smitho, that looks awesome. I'll defiently use.

One recomendation though
You should try it on a normal soldier...(I dunno...the airbourne ones? lol)..so theirs not that huge rim helmet thing..lol

The basic rule of retexturing and redistributing an FPSC texture is you have to modify the whole texture.
While you don't have to use facepaint you will have to change the face in some way.
Thanks for the retexture.

Yeah it is a shame about the distinctive helmet, but I love the webbings on the soldier, which is why I chose to use it.
Sorry to "rain on your parade", as such Cherd.
Yours would look similar, if it had the same pockets and creases like the old texture.
Could be sorted very easily
Glad you lot like it.

Dan

Edit; Thankyou for clarifying, Fred. I will not release the paintless face, now. Looks rather unique from other characters anyway

Download a photoediting software, such as Gimp, or paint.net (Google them).
Then go to your FPSC folder where the entities are, and open up the image file in there

If he wanted you to have his e-mail address there would be a shiny e-mail button below his post.
