Hullow

I really enjoy making websites, I have made too many. Now, I really want to make a decent website that I'll stick with (e.g. updating and improving daily). I would be really grateful if you could post some ideas etc. Thank you and sorry for the bother,
Ollie

You may dedicate it to something that is not related to your work.

If you do not want to make money with it, go for relaxing themes. For example, fiction, non-commercial art and poetry.

Have fun

Don't forget all good money making schemes and ideas are out there. The best bet is think of something original. Chances are if someones suggests it it may have been done

if you can't think of why you need a website straight away, off the top of your head, you probably don't need a website.

I don't have a sig, live with it.

Well mine took alot of thought(1% of my mind though because of freewebs) but in a way im really annoyed about having it in my sig for months now and no one has replyed! Expect Dared1111 and zilchvortex so i started up another called G.P.C. which is a Gaming Community not a Game Making Community so pretty much no one has replyed execpt Me and Nikel52(i think) is my brother (pretty sad.) Oh and i forgot if anyone does think about joining to make a blooming community there is a tournament for Xbox live GRAW 2. think about it!

Sorry to blabber on. I think you should get your ideas straight before asking because i don't know what you want!

Cause there's hardly anything on your website.

You should first decide what the website is for. To display your work? Keep a journal? A community? Then think what style you want, like how it should all be laid out. Do you like the newer, growing popularity of "Web 2.0" style websites?

Since you say you've made a lot of websites already, why not start off by making a web gallery to display your current work?

Recently I've been working on a website for other web designers, which contains free material such as backgrounds and images etc, but I like the idea of a reviewing site...

Thanks

Find a band, do their's.

Ive been doing that and it is really great. Member's areas, forums, private messaging, CMS for editing, news, banners, downloads, merchandise

the list is endless!

just make a small, easily expandable "template" website that just doesn't really have any content on it, but when needed you can add content to it..

btw galekus.com is my host and they own in the face compared to any other free hosting
