Hey! i just downloaded the free version of google sketchup, and after some tampering got quite used to it, ive designed a D-day style bunker quite quickly and it looks ok, however i have no idea how to make it FPSC ready, and when i try to export/save it it only has the google earth file formats not 3ds or .x or anything useful that i can convert at all =( anyone know how? ive tried searching the forums but i havent found anything useful when it comes to the free version of sketchup. I hear its possible but i dont know how to do it, it is mention on a thread, but it doesnt explain how.

If anyone can help me with this, i will release this model free

you need a non trial version of sketchup pro to do that

its not a trial and it isnt pro, its the free version, shall i send you it anyway?

The free and trial dont have the option to convert.

ill send you the SKP save file, rather than the google earth export file, so you can open it in sketchup

OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! ill convert it from a 3Ds to an .x then ill upload it here, ive never made a model FPSC ready before because this is my first ever model, so it could take a while rofl

paste this code in a .txt and rename it [name].fpe

i only got some bad news for ya
its to high

i always use a wall to make sure the hght is good

i added the wall in .skp fo ya

its just right though, the size, its not sposed 2 be wall height, i was wanting it tall, and just to stick a ladder on the back or something to get up! But thanks so much for your help its been excellent

all of the walls are the same, i actually made the ceiling quite thick yet most of it is invisible, ill send you the folder, jsut put it in the entity bank

hmm, i couldnt seem to fix the invisible faces last night, but i now know where i went wrong, so ive actually made a new model, a higgins landing craft boat, from d-day, and ive exported it to 3ds using the trial version of pro, and i just need to texture it, looks good im gonna make a thread for it now


no invisible faces on this one
