Hi! I've just started my first project, a 2d sprite based game. I've set up the player and set some borders.

What I want to try and do next is to spawn "enemy" sprites along the top of the screen and make them move down. Gradually increasing the spawn rate. But I have no idea how to do this . If any of you could point me to a Tutorial or have any general tips it would be greatly appreciated.

Use the timer to get a spawn rate:

Also you should get rid of the cls in your loop.

I'm using the CLS to create a black background, is there anyother way to make the background black?

In Pro, add this prior to the main loop



It activates the 3d backdrop that sprites turn on in pro and paints it black from now on
