Well i think i just got done.

what happened was when i went to the car boot sale a few days ago i looked around and i saw half like generations, i have always wanted to play that so i bought it for £2 so i bought it. When i got home i installed it on the laptop and then it asked me for a " CD Key Number" I looked on the back and found it, i went to type it in and i typed it in exactly as it said with the - aswell, but then it said Invalid Key Number try again. So i tryed without the dashes and it didnt work, i talked to my friend on MSN and he said that if the guy/girl registered it on the internet then i couldnt play it.

does anyone have any suggestions, i dont really mind it was only £2 but i feel really dissapointed.

I believe that was released in the Pre-Steam days so there shouldn't be any online verification for your CD-Key, you likely just inputted the key incorrectly, also you could try and download steam and input that key and if it works you should be able to download the latest versions of them.

i got ripped off once, i bought GTA2 ages ago, paid $20, got 1/2 way home, opened the box and cd case, the disc was broken, cracks all the way across it and everywhere, but it was still in a circle


Mods, its 500x100, so you cant tell me its bigger than 600x120

HL Generation cd keys are all propally stolen... Well not all i was lucky i had one here at my closet and that cd-key worked.. but u know the cd keys are on the HL Generation covers so its eas to look them on shop and "steal" the serials..

On own holiday in Florida my bro spent like $270 on games and the guy said they would work in the UK, and they didn't! No refunds either.
