Geek Culture / Any TechTV or G4 Viewers?

As some of you may know, there is a certain little channel called G4 out in the vastness that is cable TV. In the past, I loved to watch this channel, as well as its predecessor and competitor TechTV. I was happy. I had the ScreenSavers, I had Icons, I had two networks that suited my gaming and tech oriented needs. But then one day, G4 decided they were going to gobble up TechTV.

But being the incarnate of pure evil itself, the new G4 decided they were going to kill off all the TechTV shows they had acquired, save for XPlay. But still, they did more. Next on their list of evil deeds was to put shows on the network which have nothing to do with games. It started slow at first, but soon the network was plagued with shows such as Arrested Development, Cops, Cheaters, Star Trek, Ninja Warrior, the Man Show, and so on.

So here I am now, with a channel which has hardly anything to do with gaming or techy stuff. Am I the only one who hates what has happened here?

Edit: I forgot to mention this is purely for the American G4, I think the Canadian G4 Still retains Game and Tech oriented shows.

Yes, I hung on for a while, too.
The thing that finished it for me was a little 'commercial' take off they did on Jesus Christ. As a Christian, I found that highly offensive, and removed G4 from my watch list for good.

Yeah, I completely agree. I miss Judgement Day, Icons (the old one, not the new one) and new Electric Playgrounds. Arena was great too.

Do they still have Attack of the Show? I haven't watched G4 in a while. They removed almost all of the good shows from their lineup, and I know that they are making a ton of people mad.

okay first of all, I like Ninja Warrior. That is an awesome show, but it is more awesomer than scrubs.

Cheaters, Arrested Development, Cops, Star Trek, and the Man show, all suck IMO.

Icons was one of my favorite shows, until it was taken off, and yeah, they got attack of the show. But it's stupid, their dumb 4/20 episode. It needs more tech stuff, not so much "lifestyle" like content.

yeah, I'm sort of mad, but Ninja Warrior is a decent band aid.

Also, From looking at the schedule, G4TechTV in Canada has the kind of shows G4 used to have, is it at all possible to watch it even though I'm in the U.S?
