I dont like the overline on the links. the background is just horrendous and impossible to read the black text on it. I think you need to have a more complete design before presenting it.

Um, it was just kinda basic. You might wanna consider prerendering buttons with sweet graphics, then just making a layout, or something. There are lots of companys that offer lots of buttons, mouse responsive but they cost like a yarly membership.

to the ones thats trapped inside of you, this is it!!

hmmm...buttons..might consider that...

yea, I know with the background it makes it hard to read...planning to change that in some way...

and I was just wanting to know what everyone else thinks before I make a lot of crappy code..

Buy a domain name, you can get them for as little as $19 a year.

it's not the money I have a problem with, it's me giving all my address information to the public..I think that bit about domains is just really stupid..

hmm...I don't think it's too bad, it's a start, but I'd probably work on it more. As said, seems a bit basic, although that depends on what you're going for, I'm a guy who likes a bit of variation and colour and the text has a colour that draws attraction to itself, as it generally wants to be read. Of course...the font, well I'm sure it's a temporary one

Yep, you're getting ripped off royally. I buy domains for 6.99/yr through domainsite.com, renewals are 7.99 through them. A little more expensive then some places, but support is great (I've only needed to call them once) and I've never had a problem. Every once in a while they throw free credit at me too...

What do you get for that though? (e.g.) Bandwidth, PHP, MYSQL, phpMyAdmin, storage space etc.

Domain names are not webhosting. You can purchase domain names separately from hosting space. Most decent hosts will allow you to point multiple domains to the same hosting space..

For seven bucks you should expect to be able to edit/add nameservers addresses and be able to lock the domain and change contact domain info. Anything else (like domain forwarding or parking) usually costs more.

You should not consider "x free domains" promotions when browsing hosting providers, cuz domain names are dirt cheap when compared to the cost of hosting.
