If you are going to request something, what are you offering in return? With nothing to offer, you are probably either going to get some low quality work, or nothing at all.

I would much rather model than texture. *shudders at the thought of texturing*

I read this and decided to give it a go.
It wasn't until after I had finished that I realised it was Colonel-X that you wanted. I have made a Colonel-Z texture for AIKO.

Oh well, I'm sure you can still make use of it.

Why has she got what seems to be a basket on each breast?

Scraggle, that is exactly what I need. Why exactly can't you upload it?

Well you proved me wrong Scraggle. It's good to see people willing to make free things for others. Nice work, and thanks.

It was pointed out in another thread about the same reskin that I can't provide the download because I have not changed the texture for the face and I have used the textures from Colonel-Z.

However, after thinking about it, it seems a mute point because if you want to use my version of the skin, then you would have to own the Aiko model anyway. So, I have re-instated the download.

If anyone in authority disagrees with my philosophy, then I will be happy to remove the link again but for now, I don't see a problem with it.

The texture is just as much owned by TGC as the models are. Someone could sample any bit of that texture and use it for something else. It does sound strange I know, but it is breaking the law nethertheless.

i thought tgc gave full rights to anyone using fpsc... if sampling a texture is breaking the law (which does sound a bit odd, considering the cercumstances), then why are we allowed to market our own games?

just my 2 cents

The textures are useless without the meshes. At any rate we don't need any more forum lawyers around here.
I am waiting for clarification from Rick Vanner.I'm not doingthing about most of these retextures until I hear from him.

It works the same way as the models. You can include them packed in a game, but you can't sell just the model to someone else.

Anyway we don't even know if this is true or not anymore. Hopefully this sin't the case anymore

Now we have confirmation of what is acceptable regarding the uploading of re-textures, I have resubmitted mine in the post above.

eh, i see your point, tyrano.
i thought you were talking about the retexture being sold in the game, not in a pack, of sorts.

How about just getting Gimp and DDS Converter (both free) and making the textures yourself? It's not too hard, with practice.
(note: This is not meant to be insulting)
