I'm Tommie from RT software , maybe you know Oleg he is also in our team. Well what i want to show is a weapon that we have made Oleg and I . I did the model and the animation and oleg did the texture.
We did about 3 day to create it , the animation is not so good.
But it going to change. Oleg also made a video that I'm going to show you guys. Thanks for watching !

Please leave comments...

Cheers , Tommie

Nice, If you dont mind could you privatly (MSN, Email) show me how to make a hand! I have tons of weapons without hands so I cant release them.

The Gun looks Excelent, especially the texture!

EDIT: Polys??

Looks to be progressing well. Nice to see VWEAP and smooth alpha channel work on the optic though it doesn't look like it's sorting correctly with the geometry behind it. Try welding the verticies of the reticle plane to the geometry that frames it.

FPSC doesn't support reflective surfaces as far as I know.

It's not necessarily reflection, but I think you mean shinyness. Make a specular map for it. For an example, look at the textures for the Uzi weapon and you'll find a specular map.

mag looks a little too short...

the grip looks a little too small...

EDIT: I have used photoshop 9 for the texture and tommie used AC3D for modeling and fragMOTION for the animation.

Mostly those programs cost money.

You have 3dsMax.
Maya.
Milkshape.

and others

Also some free.

Blender...(at least i thought it was free)
and others.

And its not that you could easily make it.
You'll have to animate it.
Of course make the model.
And the textures..(which are also very hard).

But a question... can you speak english?
Spreek je Engels?
