i do not think so on these grounds
1. you have to draw a line and FPSC does not let you make a line
2. you would would have to calculate the collision for said line.
so no you can't make a laser sight in the current version of FPSC

you can live with a man for all his days, but you really find what he really is like when hold him over a volcano

Ahh.... a new FPSC user Listen I've been around here so long and learned so much and yes you could! if you go to model pack 5 & 2 they have light effects, but I think then did it like this

1. Create a gun
2. Make one big line sticking out where you want the laser
3. Texture it so that about half is trandsparent then the rest laster color
4. make it a little blurry
5. test it and you should have a laser

only thing is collision (example: looking a wall, ceiling for it to turn shorter)

You can make the crosshair a red dot, but you can't make the dot get smaller depending on distance, unfortunately.

red stone is right, that wayis possible, but you'll need to illumination map the laser bit of the mesh, otherwise it'll get darker when you're not lit

Hey Butters could you explain illumination mapping? I don't understand it and I'm thinking my next modelling project after my kitchen should be a weapon.

Opposing force: That actually sounds pretty cute, where is the crosshair graphic located?

Perhaps i'll try that for my next game

cant you fix the model clipping to where the laser sight has no clipping on the really long laser? or i the clipping just fixed to a standard box fit to the dimensions of the model?
