I really like typing right into the web from to reply to posts. But I can't tell you the number of intricate answers, with references and such that I have lost in the last few days while trying to post. Whether it be the lag, or the SQL update that just happened right when I went to post, clicking the back button on my mouse by mistake. Arrrrg... It's so frustrating!

I don't want to type all my responses in notepad before hand. Is there a plugin that exists for firefox2 or IE7 that will autmotically keep the last info being typed into a forum message, so that it can be retrieved?

If not, does anyone here have the ability/knowledge to code such a plugin or app. Even if it just stores the last entry in the clipboard. I don't want to use a key recording app, but I think I will if nothing else is available.

Thanks!

You may try this one. I never tested it. You must to install GreaseMonkey to use the script.

off topic: Igniz rocks

Thanks I tested it out, but there seems to be one main problem. it doesn't save the form automatically like it says it should. After I am don typing I have to save as a booklet (bookmark) in by right clicking and choosing form saver.

If I do that i can click the book mark, and return to the page. I wish it did it automatically, and it would be perfect. There isn't much to the options, and I look the script. Not sure what to do, or if this can work the way I want it to.

I figured it out

It works well. But I will keep using control+A, control+C.

1. Install GreaseMonkey;
2. Restart Firefox;
3. Go to the GreaseMonkey's script manager and install the script;
4. Add http://forum.thegamecreators.com/* to the "Included pages" list.

Have fun
