Geek Culture / Windows XP home says 3.25 GB or RAm when there is 4?

I recently installed 2GB of ram and when i look at my system information it says i have 3.25 even though i have 4GB installed. Does anyone know what is going on?
My specs AMD Anthlon 64 X2 4800 3.25(really 4.00)ram and NVida Geforce 7900 gs ko
