) it's legal to have a drink with your meal before 18, you can drink at home, I mean I got drunk when I was 2 at Barbecue party, I had a sip of everyone's drink, people thought 'a sip won't hurt', but a sip x 100...well shame noone had a camera.
It's not regular for a 6 year old to start drinking, it's usually 12-15 years olds, some manage to get lots of drinks for parties, it's not legal there, but a lot of Britons drink underage. As for the drink driving, the laws here suck for that I'm afraid, one local guy sped down a road full of people on a christmas party night, ran down an 18 year old girl and killed her, was sentenced for jail, got out way before his time and has basically got away with it with a 2 years in jail.
