Get the LATEST version. There are several DX 9.0c's for some reason.

@ Nemesis_0_: As far as I know you also get a DirectX-Error when the AGEIA-Driver is missing! Be sure it is installed!

Otherwise, if you are really missing a "DirectX.DLL"/"D3D.DLL" have a look at:
http://www.toymaker.info/Games/html/d3dx_dlls.html

They should be placed in "C:\WINDOWS\system32" (at least this is the case on my machine)!

I hope that helps!

If I have Dark Physics installed and i have a dbpro program thatjust has you print the words "test" to the screen, will not having the Ageia drivers still effect it? cuz i mean it doesnt even use dark physis then but it still causes the error.... what is the latest version of direct x9.0c and where can iget it????

@ Nemesis_0_: If you want the complete "DX-9.0c"-runtime, then have a look at the microsoft-website:
(this would be the version as a setup-file)
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=d2e2cae1-6aef-4a40-bd00-f0fb2a71e99f&DisplayLang=en

or (as a web-installer)
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3&DisplayLang=en

Maybe that helps?
