Can you export .x files with animation in Milkshape? I have animated a model exported it and it will not play the animation. I have made sure that I have chosen to export the animation. What am I doing wrong?

it can be done. Are you exporting in animation mode? this is a no no.

hallo Wizzkid... probably you are doing correct things but you have to know...that animated mesh...works only in dark basic pro...but it does´t work in classical one.
