Not the sort of keyboard to spill coffee on or eat biscuits over then.

We are the angry mob, we read the papers every day. We like who we like, we hate who we hate but we're also easily swayed!

Yeah, read that on one of the tech blogs a week or two back. A lot of people reckoned graphic artists and the like that spend 1000's on software would probably not blink at the price.

Personally I would like to feel what the keys are like first. Don't love the idea of touching LCDs...

Oh, and how annoyed would you be with a stuck or dead pixel?

At that price though my idea of keyboard savers (think screen savers) goes out of the window a bit...

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

I entirely agree. A professional would likely be willing to fork out that much for Adobe Creative Suite Premium CS3, and even more for a laptop. Some people spend that much on things like speakers if they're Audio Geeks... So why not on a professional level keyboard which could improve your workflow?

Ha, as soon as this comes out, theres gonna be a bunch of viruses which change the keys around when you're trying to type! Lol, how annoying would that be!

you shouldn't have to look at the keys anyway! I remember somebody changed all the keys around once on a keyboard at work. After I was using it for a few minutes without problems, someone next to me asked how I could type on it. He moved to the other cubicle cause he couldn't use it without getting confused. I just stared at him then at the keyboard. I didn't even noticed the keys spelled out words. (improper words i cant repeat here)

Heh, good olde office tricks, but I know what you mean. After a few years touch typing comes naturally if you are putting in double digit hours every day programming away. I also did a few optional touch typing modules in college when it was wintery (other options meant going outside and looking at rock pools and the like while you froze...).

Best keyboard trick though is to swap keyboards with the person next to you. I mean so your keyboard is connected to your neighbours PC and visa versa. I've had computer science degree graduates taking an amazing amount of time trying to figure out why their keyboard doesn't work (try typing a few bits of garbage as they press keys for more laughs). Simple but good

Except that they fill your essay/report with junk from their essay/report.

Simply don't make it your PC. Best one we did was with 2 new guys. Because of the awkwardness of geeky young blokes straight out of college then they didn't cotton on for ages. They didn't even talk to each other, and when they finally admitted a problem to anyone in the department above them (ie. everyone) then they pretended not to understand the problem ("Phone tech support" - gotta love those defragfixeseverything boys ). Mainly because everyone in the department (about 25 people at the time), including the manager were totally in on it. Good times. Sniff....

Cheers

If it supports localization, that would make it easier to learn different keyboard layouts like Dvorak or even Chinese. But the pricetag is still too much.
