I saw this guy at EPCOT center playing a Zendrum and I thought to myself... "Self, you need to get one of those!" So I called up the guy who makes them and had one custom built! It's beautiful! I love Zendrum! It's such a joy to play!

The finish on the Zendrum is called "Tobacco Sun Burst", the drum module is a Roland TD-6V and the amp is a Roland KC-350.

Oh and a link to Zendrum... check it out!

You tap it with your fingers and palm.

Like this...

(video and sound are from my phone... poor quality.)

At least thats how I've been learning to play it. Everyone plays it differently.

Ok and I'll drum! Now all we need is a bassist and a singer and we have a band.

I've always wanted a go on one of those, must be weird playing an intrusment you don't actually touch.

I've played bass for a number of years. But I've also always wanted to play drums but I just don't have the coordination. Thats why I like this Zendrum. Allows me to play the drums with my bassist coordination.

my strange old flatmate made a theremin about 10 years ago and i still have a sample of it lol, from a pot in the kitchen, and some other bits, it was cool. my flatmates at the time didnt appreciate the 3am experimentation. the weird part to that guy is one day he stepped out looking like ziggy stardust and never changed his look after that, big bowie fan.

Ive attached a silly example of it on this post. lol

apparantly they are very easy to build as well though

Yea... it is pretty amazing. I had to dip pretty heavy into my savings to get it... but it's worth it.
