Sorry if this has been asked or covered already. I would like to participate in the convention, but probably won't physically be able to attend. Will there be any way of participating via webcam for the event?

That would scare everyone away...

I doubt there would be any sort of conferencing system installed - hotels aren't exactly the best place for things like that. In addition, you've got many different time zones, need to setup the ISP stuff etc etc...

Some person may be able to record it though, if they can bring their camcorder and enough tapes or CD's...

There are no plans right now to do anything "live", although there will most likely be some efficient post-posting of videos, if time and conditions allow it.
