Hi all,

What do you think of the Gateway FX530XG gaming PC? It starts at $1,499 (£759.48), and at a pretty good spec. Do you expect it to have decent build quality? Is it powerful enough to push along FPSC X10? (Or Halo 3, when it comes out) And will Duo Core be enough for DirectX 10?

@Nicholas Thompson: Thanks!

@Everyone else: I forgot to add, do you have any other (similarly-priced) gaming PCs you'd recommend?

Not too bad powerwise, but it's not exactly what I'd call "cheap" for what is in it.

Looks like it comes with a 8800 video card, so it should be fine for DX10.

I'm not too up to date with the latest graphics cards etc. but it seems pretty cool...

edit: oh, and you get a 19" flat panel with it too

I went to Falcon-NW and customized their top PC to all the top parts, and got it up to $20,001.23! Now, THAT, is a PC I would want..

That Dell is U-G-L-Y. It looks like a squashed minifridge.
