i made me and my friend disagree on this topic and everytime it comes up, we end up at each others throats. Can you tell me which do you think is the best or if not the best then the better?
1:Far Cry for pc
2:Halo 1 for pc

Halo is certainly better than FarCry in terms of playability.
FarCry is better graphically.

Personally I think for Windows, these games are just crap.
Halo is far better on the Xbox. I've never liked FarCry though, but I'd say given it's following that it isn't exactly a "bad" game.

Any FPS with a gamepad sucks - It's near enough impossible to turn around quickly and accurate aiming with an analogue stick is a true art. In terms of multiplayer, however, I prefer the PC because it's completely free. You can keep your IM features and profiles; MSN and Steam accomplish that for free.


Since the other one was scaring you guys so much...

I prefer Far Cry to be honest, I suppose the style appeals more to me...As for best game ever, I'd disagree on both, as I believe that there are far better games out there.

FarCry is such a beautiful environment to walk around in, it was somewhat new in terms you had the free roaming ability about the islands and they weren't really linear. Fun weapons, good AI at least for the time.

Halo... run and gun, just another shooter It was worse on PC than Xbox. It felt empty or something.

I like Halo and Far Cry equally. One has an amazing narrative, and one just has nice visuals and a mediocre stealth system. I'm sure by that you can tell which is which.

Definatly farcry, Halo is just a standard fps, nothing special

I have AMD Athlon X2 5200+, Geforce 7600GS, 2GB Ram, 240GB HDD and one hell of a headache
