Hi,

I am trying to make a surfola type thing. Ever used surfola?

http://secure.surfola.com/surfola?p=aa&e=g

It lets you get to nearly any site that is blocked, which I've used in school quite a lot, but now some idiot let them see it and thats been blocked to. Anyway, its quite a simple thing, it has a frame at the bottom with an address box, you just type in the website you want to view and off you go [the frame at the bottom stays there]. I am wanting to make my own one to use now, I know a lot of html and how to make frames etc. [i think] but I'm not sure how you'd actually get it to work, so it stays there and actually does let you access the website when you click GO or whatever.

Please help,

P.S.
I also am fine with making the website and everything, it just the getting it to work im not so sure of.

Ollie

Trying to load a blocked site inside a frame won't work. It would need to be parsed by a server-side script so that the URL was not accessed directly. You would need something like a PHP or ASP script running on a Web server which you send the URL to, it fetches the contents and then passes them back to your browser. It would also probably need to encrypt the URL on the way (depending upon how the blocking filters are configured).
