Don`t u just hate HATERS. For example the other day some fake added me on MSN, and started asking me questions about things like -

Quote: "what hexedecimal powr point engine do you use??"

Most if not, all of us here are programmers, Who here has heard of a Hexadecimal power point engine? - I bet no-one.

I mean, why do people do it?

Id like you views on this.

I hate haters, so that means I hate you...Uhoh! Now I hate myself AGH!

Anyway, I have not a clue what one is, but you shouldn't be suprised that, if I didn't revise for my Maths GCSE two years ago I would give you the same blank look if you asked me what 'trigonometry is'

But to be honest you should have just said something like a 'v12', or 'The skoda one made out of cake'

As for haters, I don't see what that comes into this MSN guy

He's not a hater, he's just a noob. Haters are people that give negative unhelpful comments. In my opinion at least.

What is that? Does it have to do with encryption encoding?
Powerpoint?

I would have been lost myself...

I wouldn't be bothered by this guy, not worth it, if he'd rather spend his time being an idiot, leave him to it, it's him who's losing out on being a human being. It's the internet, you're going to get the worst of people around looking for trouble, don't let them having, perhaps if you've had a bad day, rant it on them and then click the 'block button' in your messenger and begone.

Here's how it works:

1. Last picked in gym class
2. received a swirly from the football captain
3. inferiority complex sets in
4. comes home and hides behind computer where one can be as big and mean as they want
5. not really knowing anything, begin to annoy folks online because ye has no life and wants to feel some control or power they can't achieve in real life
6. banned from various forums and buddy lists
7. angry
8. takes gun to school and cries about being such a p**sy

Moral of the story, make sure you kids can play sports!

I was once picked second to last in a game of capture the flag. I got really upset but never told anyone. What really pissed me off about it was that I was one of the best players in the game.

I'm sure I've been picked last at least once, but I can't remember it.

...anywho, replace sports with any useful skill that not everybody has, and you can prevent this sort of thing. I know someone who fits perfectly except for the gun part, though he's SUPER depressed. I know of nothing he's good at, not even at being depressed, because it caused him to have 3 teeth knocked out once. He always brags about what a good artist his sister is though, and she really is... too bad it's the only thing he can think to brag about.

I could've sworn they're counted as "Leisure activities" rather than sports. Atleast in the modern sense of the word, sport.
If we go by the traditional sense of, "An activity that involves a challenge towards anyone taking part"

That said by that strain we could count most of this forum enjoying the sport of programming. lol

You do realize that 'challenge' doesn't mean it has to be physically straining, there is such a thing as skill, strength will only get you so far.

Which is what I said, they're only sports in the traditional sense of the word. Not the more modern meaning, but then again by all rights programming should be counted as a sport; it can be done alone or with a team with the aim of coming up with a solution that doesn't crash. The opposing team (the user) then has to try his best to dislike it.

The aim of the game is simple, make the user happy and win. Make them unhappy, not only do you loose but it gets blogged and dug for the whole world to know about.

Heh, sports aren't all good either, last night after the Liverpool match, I got threatened to get my head punched in by a couple of drunken 'Pool supporters whose world collapsed because someone kicked a ball into their net...

Nah, I just ignored them, I just made sure not to watch him when I walked past, I wasn't too worried, but there's not much you can do against a punch in the back of your head.

You mean that you acted like a big dork? Score...

This hardly sounds worthy of any further consideration than it would have taken to block the guy.

Yeah I do! Strange, I was just talking about that to someone on MSN not so long ago. I remember when he directly linked some images from my site, and I changed them to make him look more stupid than he already was. Those were the days!
