I've just finished my 3rd year (well, nearly) at Leeds Met Uni, doing Graphic Art and Design, I work in film, animation and new media, and my work for this year has been centred about trying to define my generation (think around 18-26).

Basically this has taken the form of a 25 minute documentary, where each interview is rotoscoped, animated and processed to reflect what people are talking about in the visual channel of the work.

The final work was spread across a DVD, printed inlay and the web, to create a complete media experience (god, i'm starting to believe my own psycho-babble)

You can have a look through my work for the last 9 months, as well as download the full video from my project's website at;

http://www.graphicfilth.com/generation

My course is exhibiting from the 2nd to the 9th of june, at

H building
8th & 9th floor
Leeds Met
Civic Campus
Leeds
(opposite the dry dock pub)

(the exhibition is also on in second life, and will have a website... as soon as I've built it (I'm the only one in my year who can do web design) I'll post a link to it when it's ready)

If you live in Leeds or in the west yorkshire (or even if you don't!) you're more than welcome to come and have a look around. Also, a show reel of my course's work will be being shown on the big screen in millennium square.

would love some feedback from you guys!

cheers

Martin.

Cool cool, I'd come if it were closer and that it were possible for me to get to, I like exhibitions. The one my Mum and sister was in for Hatfield uni was pretty cool, some awesome videos, artwork, animation shorts etc. that are worth seeing. So although I won't be going, I think my comment should enforce the idea that seeing uni grad exhibitioms might be worth looking at.

Look behind you a threeheaded monkey!

Very nice, some effects in there that have given me some ideas for my own personal projects.

A couple of things that might just polish it off a little more:
Some of the names pop under the nodes in the diagram and are partially hidden.
I struggled to find the X to get back to the navigation image.

Other than that, it's very well put together.

Bloody capitalists, they'll take over the world one day.
