NOYB - Sure,
The User manual is 157 pages. Is starts off with programming principles like Datatypes, variables, arrays, functions and aritmetic etc. It goes onto using the DB editor and creating your first proggy, then it has a ( at the time ) complete reference with quite detailed explanations of the commands available in DB.
The tutorial manual ( 47 pages ) starts off by explaining some of the basics behind 3d, like object creation, camera movement, texturing and collision detection. It then explains about the Dark Basic 'matrix' - creating, texturing, walking on etc. It then moves on to how to create a full 3d game. It doesn't go through creating an actual game as such, but shows you HOW to create a complete game. This includes Loading objects, using the mouse to look in 3d, shotting bullets, sound effects, explosions, HUD, enemies shooting back etc.
The tutorial manual is very good as it gives you actual working code to demonstrate.
This boxed version comes with 2 cds. Dark Basic on one disc and demos and utilities on the other, includes 3d models and sounds etc.
