I've noticed that when I have 2 or more NPCs in a room, (such as the Zombie Doctors from Model Pack 2) one usually starts to attack, while the other one just sits there and does not do anything until I go in front of him.(Or get near him).

Download the latest patch (1.05 RC2), I got 12 enemies to chase and attack me at the same time, without notable framerate drop.

There is several good AI scripts available, this is quite a common question around here. Use the search option!

Try some of theese: Sensei,Phoenix Ai, Airslide's AI pack.
