Well as the title suggests, this is simply not working for me. I am simply trying to display a hud. Worked fine before under v103 and v104. The hud definition itself is not the issue as it displayed fine without scancodekeypressed.

I get one of two results:

1) Nothing happens at all or
2) the hud that displays when the player is shot appears, in fullscreen

Also, when you press "i" your health rises to 9999. Odd....

Here's the code in case I made some mistake

Yeah, it's not working for me either, and the same thing happens when I press "I". It happens whether or not you use any script.

Best.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

Well Test of Will, I just don't see the purpose of having that in the editor. Whether its in the manual or not, if I wanted infinite health I would set that in the player settings. Thanks for your...help. Oh, and try using that in a built game. Do you see my point?

EDIT:

@xplosys, since you are having this issue as well, do you always put a desc = header in your scripts?

It didn't used to work in a built game, maybe that was another bug created by 1.05.

Well, either I made a mistake or the program decided to work again. Hmmmm, let me see. I'm going with the program starting to work again. lol

It seems my script was incorrect and that's why I thought it wasn't working, but it is. Still very strange about the "I" key though. I don't know what's up with that.

Best.

I have rc5 02 installed and scancodekeypressed works fine for me.
I will have to check out that I key thing though.

The "i" key is a debug key like 'x' or 't' or 'u' (those three used for framerate control).

Yeah "I" does nothing in build game. My point was that if you want to test a scancode with that you have to build the game, because it adds health in test game.

As far as scancodekeypressed, the error was I didn't have a description header. You know, "desc = stupid script"... Didn't realize that was necessary. Worked perfectly once I added that.

Go figure...
