For commercial or noncommercial use.
Do not sell this in any way shape or form.
You must ask permission to resistribute this, host it on your site, etc. and give me credit and don't charge for it.
You can use this in any project.
Credit in your project would be nice but not necessary.
Thanks to FPSC...If it weren't for that this wouldn't have gotten made.

I have included the textures used to make the furniture.

I used entity workshop to make these...it's quit a time saver.Thanks,Wetham.

If you use these this line must be included with the documentation:

Additional media created by Wehtam ( www.wehtam.co.uk )

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE YOU ALLOWED TO:
Have any kind of fun once you are married.
Run with scissors or any other sharp object.
Disprespect your parents.
Drink and drive (Hey,it's against the law and a stupid thing to do).
SELL THIS IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM.
Pour gasoline on yourself and light a match.
Drive blindfolded.

There are five couches and five chairs...One couch and chair with each texture.

Here are pics of the textures.

You're welcome xplosys.Just made the textures from scratch last night/early this morning. The couch and chair models are ones that I made for my game a while back.It was pretty neat to use Entity Workshop...just load the model, load the texture, tweak it and save.
It took about 10 minutes for the Entity Workshop part of it.
Took a while to make the textures though.

Xplosys already has permission to host anything of mine on his site so if he wants to then he's good to go.
Thanks for all of the feedback guys.I appreciate it.

Good work again, Fred. May I ask, are you using Gimp? If you are does have a burn tool? This is a fantasdtic way to outlike the edges of the object you are texturing

The Gimp has a burn tool.I made these with Texture Maker. The couches and chairs are not UV mapped. When I put the original texture on the couch and chair I didn't need to map them. The original texture worked perfectly (by accident).
As always if anyone wants to modify the models and/or textures in any way they are welcome to.
I'll have to start UV mapping my furniture.
Also, the textures have a bump map but my computer doesn't support shaders.I can't be sure (since my pc doesn't support shading) but the furniture should look a lot better with shaders on...no guarentees though.
Hopefully in July or August I'll be getting a Direct x10 compatible video card (if I can find one that won't melt my motherboard). Then I will be able to do a lot more with textures and such.
My monitor is like 10 years old or so which means things probably look different on newer monitors. The one that came with this pc bit the dust and I hoard electronic crap so I dug this one out of the closet, dusted it off (I think) hooked it up and went.
Which reminds me...I need a new monitor too.

That probably won't happen. Microsoft does not change the price of it's O/S's as a general rule. The price of Windows 98, 2000, XP never changed, and even after Vista has come out, I am still buying XP at the same price as before. Vendors may take less profit as time goes by and we approach another update, but it will be a very small change and a way down the road. As it is, we only mark up an O/S by a couple of dollars because anybody can see the price online.

Best.

Nice models FredP
Thanks

Edit: I'd make them a little smoother. Then they'd look much more comfortable...

Edit2: After all the things I heard about Vista, you should better forget it and keep at XP (still the best)

Great stuff Fred, furniture entities really help flesh-out a room, they're also great for directing the player and providing cover.

I wonder what they would look like with matching carpets ?

The textures are included in the download. While they wre designed as furniture fabric I am sure anybody can open a program (like Entity Workshop) and add the texture to any entity (if you want it to be an entity) or a segment making program and use the texture of their choice for the segment.
One of the reasons I included the textures was so that people could match their stuff up.I have noticed there is a shortage of matching stuff like this.
The next thing I am planning on making is a lamp collection.
Some of the stuff I make I will use exclusively in my game but some will be released.
You program makes it a piece of cake to kick out stuff like this so hopefully that will increase my productivity.

Awesome - bit big though (any selfrespecting FPSC user can do it themselves though ).
I cant work out whether you took my advice of using the burn tool, or the new shaders are helping a lot (they are so good )

That lamp is kind of a rough draft.I am going to make it a variety of sizes and I have a variety of textures I made for it as well.
I am also going to make (hopefully) 4 or 5 other lamps with different designs.
Now that I have a couple of new toys to play with (like Entity Workshop) I can get some more done.
