Project status: Active

Note that this logo is not necessarily the final logo.

Note: This project is currently a Work In Progress, so ideas and names can change at any time.

Rollerway is a rather simple, yet addictive fast-paced action game in which you play as a ball that must reach a target, by rolling forward over many different obstacles. It takes place in a Mystical Vortex somewhere far from earth, in a parallel Universe, that never seems to end.

Thanks I am devoting most of my free time to it, and if I keep going at the same rate it will be done in reasonable time.

Cool Reminds me of Bomb Roller by UFO and Marble Blast, only the graphics are more shiny...

SkyRoads 2!

Oh wait, not. Well, looks just as fun, anyway. Will be interesting to see if you can keep it challenging and diverse.

Well, the project has not died. I was busy the last month or so, but I am back on it. I am now working on the level editor. I may upload some more screenshots soon.

Looks good. The beachball is a nice throwback to Kula World.

Cool. That looks like one of my all time favourites : Trailblazer. I almost completed a split screen version in DBC a while back (God, was over half a decade ago, now I look it up) but never had the time (and a DBC upgrade almost killed it) to completely finish it. Always wanted to make a sequel with internet play etc. Lost the code though

Don't forget things like speed ups, slow downs, jumps (get only a certain amount per level), opposites (controls work wrong way round), drugs (hard to see properly), and screen rotation (play upside down). Trailblazer was always fun

Oh, didn't notice the download. Will try now. Rats. Is only a gif...

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

Thanks for the feedback!

@Lucifer - Thanks for the offer! I might need some music but I'm not sure yet.

Here is another screenshot - the blue streaks are speed boosters.

Ok, I will.

Good news, I have now nearly completed a basic level editor. Soon I will be designing more levels.
