Interesting idea... Although its currently not a website - its just a bunch if spliced up images.

Its very pretty - but its WAY to image heavy. Each page is about 58 requests!

Nice start though. It looks like you've at least made an effort to design it yourself and not taken a template site and claimed it as your own.

Advice: Learn HTML and CSS and try to simplify the code into a STYLE. Seperate the CONTENT and the PRESENTATION. Currently there is just presentation as its all image.

Thanks Nicholas. Yeah I just discovered it's ALL images, and yes i didn't go for a template. I did it all myslef. Thanks, it's good to know it's pretty...lol but yeah i'm fixing it. The banner/buttons will soon be a background, to lower load time, and just add hot links.

Its very pretty but everything is positions using absolute DIV tags. Things overlap and load on top of each over, as if you have saved each PhotoShop layer as individual images. Waaaay too complex when it can be done much simpler using plain old HTML and CSS, which would make it load quicker, render faster and compatible with more browsers too.
Does look nice though.

EDIT: Looks like you were replying as I was typing this

yeah man, looks good, but takes longer to load than most sites I've been too. you should tone down the images.

If you want to keep all the images, I would make them a little lower quality so it loads faster.

looks really cool to me! the only hting is that when you resize the window kinda small, everything will overlap and be unreadable..(plus it doesn't automatically change the word wrapping, so oyu have an annoying horizontal scroll bar

edit:
another annoying hting is that you can't click the actual text in your nav bar, you have to click the image above it...

I'm addicted to placebo's...I would quit but it wouldn't mean anything! lol

i know it's driving me crazy. I'm trying so hard to find a fix for it. Anyway, I think it's because the newupdates on my website were made on a seperate publication and they overlap each other. But I will definetly get it figured out.
