This sounds like a really stupid question, but i downloaded GPS's Scifi Trapdoor, and i need to alter the csg of the floor. every time i try to find the file of the floor, It never shows up even when i look in the right folders. Why? i have really been looking foward to using trapdoors in my games, but now i either can't use them, or need to put a bunch of annoying looking false walls around the trapdoor without a floor. Can someone please help?

Ps. I have no idea how scripting works.

It's really annoying, because i search for the script for the "stone" segment, and then when i finally find it using windows useless search tool, i try to open it, then it comes up with "C:/program files/The game creators/Fps creator/files/segments/WWII/platforms/stone.fps is not a valid win32 application." Can someone please at least tell me if they are having the same problem, or how to solve it. i am wondering if it is because i do not have the segment creator, and i cannot download it because it is 225 MB! My first computer didn't even hold that much space. Please help because i am dying to have a trapdoor in my games.

If you don't know what trapdoor i am talking about, go to this page: http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=81908&b=24

The files i am trying to open say that they are an fps or fpi folder. can someone tell me what that means? the icons look like a piece of paper with a red "A" on the bottom right hand corner, and two vertical loading bars at the top. They used to be different icons, but then i did something, (i can't remember what) and then they changed into that! can someone tell me what happened? i think i made a horrible mistake!!!

So many posts......
The script is a .fpi file, open it up with notepad.

And judging from the "post pics of yourselves" thread a few of the respected members of this community are under 15, so that's no excuse!

Judging from what you've posted so far I'd say don't open anything else...... not to mean or anything.

Thanks, E.D, but when i try to open them up in notepad, the folders just don't show up. i mean, things like the WWII section and scifi and common sections show up, but a folder like the stone.fps folder don't show up. i tried opening the folders up in wordpad too, but that doesn't work either.
any more help would be very greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
