blender is a full featured package but with a steep learning curve geared mainly at high end renders and modelling.

3dc has features specifically designed for game modelling as well as other requirements and its learning curve is a lot easier.

$50 also seperates the packages.

Man,I got blender,3D Canvas 6(Registered),Milkshape 3D(Registered)
And quite frankly,Blender sukks!!
My Favorite is 3D Canvas,its ease of use,multi file formats,good interface,and compatability.Blender has a strange interface,not easy to use,should i continue!!!!!??!!
