Very annoying adware; does anybody here know of ways of removing it?
(All I found whilst searching on google/alltheweb was links to spyware-loaded \"This will remove [searchword] (not) (and in the process infect you with yada-yada along with hundreds of other crappy things\")).

The best free one by miles is Lavasoft Ad-Aware SE Personal, used my millions of users. Will almost certainly clean your pc up.

If you can afford it, I'd fork out the cash for Spysweeper. Never let me down. Best bet is to try a variety of them though, they'll probably detect ones others don't.
