I'm making a level with a switch that turns off the lights and there is a sign saying disconnect the power before you open the door how would I make it so that the door would have to have the power off before you can enter it?

use activateifused=x (action)
and activated=x (condition)

Why do say that it's very complex

Why don't you just make it a remote door which opens when you press the switch?

Yeah the script shouldn't be that hard. Use Thraxas' idea, but as for the lights you would need to have them set as dynamic and have the lights and door all set to the same name. In the ifUsed field of your switch put the name. That should work.

EDIT:

It sounds like you want the door to be closed when you approach it after you've turned off the power. Don't know exactly which script the automatic doors use, but before you play the open animation add the activated=x condition. THAT should work.
