i'm just wondering if anyone knows howto achieve this with ideological languages suchas Chinese, Japanese and Russian.
For some reason the inputter recognises the characters and input however the program exports then as ascii characters (and not english but the ascii equivilant!)

this would help loads as right now i need to get Japanese into something. I also have Photoshop 7 however unless someone can tell me exactly howto do it i'm not even going to bother because I don't get on with Photoshop.

thanks

You have the wrong version of PaintShop Pro 7!

You need a double-byte version, such as the Chinese version, to use those languages.

The English version is a single-byte version.
See page 478 of the manual, second paragraph.

U read that manual? I am impressed, I never read manuals over 20 pages

I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

Had to!
I'm trying to write a 2D game, and I sell 3D textures on-line, and I do free-lance photography.
That's also why I keep it on the desk!

Almost got it memorized, but not quite!

the same thing happens to me, one way is to type out the strange letters on word then print screen & paste into psp, then simple select the letters out of that image (it would be easier to do on photoshop)

yeah probably would be... however noticed the same annoying bug in that stupid program - no way i was gonna buy the Jap version of that bloody program ... i mean $65 for psp7 jp is fine, but $320 for photosp 7 jp!?!
you can't even save in the demos which is stupid!!!
i mean sure you can print screen and save in paint or something, but to piss about for hours in something that is horrible to just use quickly and easily without being a proffesor on it... lol
anyways - i've done what i wanted in psp jp now
