I'm using a 54mb wireless connection and benchmarked (after clean cache and restart)at roughly 748kbps - 800kbps before running ItelliHyperspeed.

Ran the app -> restarted -> emptied the cache -> same apps running and ran the test a few times...

Result was consistent 2663.2 kbps or 2.66 Mbps. (1 result was 1.85Mbps which was the lowest)

more than a 300% increase. Benchmark vie CNET.com

Not bad as I got it with the mag. Not sure what exactly it did... I thought I had already made performance tweaks to packetwindow sizes. But I can't argue with the results.

Or it lied to you...

I'll try it out.

The benchmark reports were from Cnet.com (which had nothing to do with the app(IntelliHyperSpeed 2005) or the mag(Hakin9) in question, and was thereby a neutral party).

So, since the test was done via Cnet's server side, I don't see how IntelliHyperSpeed could have lied.

So far I have tapped out at 3258.8 kbps. I need to find the other speed test I used to use, that reported both up down, and throttled the load. I'll see what it reports.

Ok I now went to DSLREPORTS which more people are probably familiar with.

My resultse for my 54mb Wireless were:

I don't have images of tests I have done in the past, but I know it was less than half that on wireless.

Now I shutdown some web agents I had running and got this...
Not shabby for wireless connection.

I'm going to run an Adware Spyware scan, and see what I can top it out at.
Pretty much the same result:

Tweak Tool says everything looks good:
