The lego concepts are a salute to escher, one of my favorite artists, perhaps the grandfather of graphic design.

That last one (the faucet) is at our state fair every year. There is a clear plastic tube going up the center, and the water gets to the top and spills down around, hiding it.

The big huge tap has a plastic tube in it where the water is pouring down which sucks up more water.

Agreed! Considering he could calculate multiple tesselations in his head without the aide of a computer. I can have a hard time putting a storage box together, never mind his inate sense of transformational geometry. I remember when I saw some of his work, I thought they were pencil sketches, only later to find out they were lithographs.

Unfortunately some of that brilliance is lost today with the aide of computers, tesselation algorithms, stereographs, but not to those who know what they are looking at, I suppose.
