Meh. As soon as the teacher was out of the room for a minute we were straight into Frak!, Revs, and making the speech program say rude words on the old BBC Micros back in my school days. Tops.

Cheers

Pah, I remember when these games were 2D, seriously, I remember an old tron game on the Archimedes that rocked, a Tron clone was the first game I made on the Atari ST, everyone has to make a tron game at some point - 2D or 3D, your choice!.

At 6th form college I remember some dude download Elasto-mania in our Computing class, and soon we all had it. We were all constantly task switching from elasto-mania to Turbo Pascal. No work was ever done. It was great. I got a B. How? I don't know.

Yeah, I did. In QB if I remember rightly. Wasn't very good. Have you seen that light cycle game that someone coded in VB a while back? Very nice. Think he carried on in C++, but the VB version (which he gave the code away for) was still top notch:-

I remember a Tron light cycles game where the AI opponent was literally unbeatable in the mathematical certainty sense.

What fun that game was.

Have to show the DB version - it's worth checking out if any of the downloads etc still work, I think the project is dead now.
