'pong' is the one most people seem to do to get started, may sound boring but it is very helpful

Think classic arcade games
Most of these (Pong, Invaders, Snake) are easy to make, and they'll give you an increased insight into the language. After that move on to some easy 3D stuff to get thehang of camera and collision. One good way is to join up with a team with a small project and they'll help you increase you skills.

Whatever I did I didn't do it!

if its your first game doing snake is quite hard, on the other hand making a game where you move a character round(that remains the same size and doesn't move like a snake) the screen collecting dots is very easy.

just copy the above into your db editor, if you need more help just ask!!!
