if its your first game doing snake is quite hard, on the other hand making a game where you move a character round(that remains the same size and doesn't move like a snake) the screen collecting dots is very easy.
rem very simple sprite game
rem sets up manual syncing
sync on
sync rate 50
rem makes a box and then gets images from it to use with sprites
box 0,0,40,40
get image 1,0,0,40,40
get image 2,0,0,5,5
cls
rem positions 10 sprites randomly on the screen
for t=2 to 11
sprite t,rnd(640),rnd(480),2
next t
rem start of the main loop
do
rem repositions sprite 1(player) accroding to the variables x + y
sprite 1,x,y,1
rem uses the arrow keys to increase/decrease the variables which control
rem the player sprite
if upkey()=1 then y=y-3
if downkey()=1 then y=y+3
if rightkey()=1 then x=x+3
if leftkey()=1 then x=x-3
rem detects for collsion between player and other sprite, delete the
rem sprite the player collides with and adds 1 to the variable 'score'
if sprite collision(1,0)
delete sprite sprite collision(1,0)
score=score+1
endif
rem checks to see if score=10 and if it does the game finishes
if score=10
center text 320,240,"YOU WIN!!!!"
center text 320,260,"PRESS ANY KEY TO EXIT"
suspend for key
end
endif
rem tells the comp to refresh the screen
sync
rem end of main loop
loop
