Considering we couldn't really give a monkeys about the bloke who had been here since 2005 who announced his new avatar here, then I doubt you are going to get much for one you have replaced after less than a month...

Oh, and the old avatar was a lot better IMO. Animated stick men are a bit 2005 if you know what I mean.

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

you took a 320 x 240 xiao xiao re-creation thats 324 kilobytes or roughly 316 megs of bandwidth for 1000 views and squeezed it into an avatar box.

hardly impressive mate and very inefficient and impractical for usage.

Wow indi, good find.

The full sized picture looks good. The small one does not. Worse, this post is a waste of time and the context of the post makes you think that he made the animation himself. And it's too big. Wrong, wrong, wrong.

Come see the WIP!

I wondered why it took so long. Doesn't this forum limit avatars to something sensible like 5kb?

bah - mine is till a tenth the size of yours

I actually didn't know that the avatar was being resized by the browser, I thought Rich had implemented a GD-like PHP resizing script...

It's way too big, and will annoy so many people on lower bandwidth that it's been removed.
