Recently discover the Oolite website which is a remake of the original zx spectrum Elite (Its basically Elite with modernised graphics and gameplay improvements e.g. you can fly ships other than the Cobra Mk3). I came accross a tutorial that someone put together which shows how to use wings 3D and meshwork to make models. Thought it might be useful to some as I find it a laborious pain to navigate my way around most 3D graphic software menus. Anyway here is the link (if you're a fan of Elite, you may also want to check out the remake called Oolite - its pretty cool).
