Hi all,

Sorry if you know this already, but you can now buy Geometry Wars for the PC via Steam, and until tomorrow (22nd June) it's only $2.50.

I've not tried it myself as I own the 360 version, but if it's half as good as that then it's well worth the measly amount they are asking for it at the moment.

Cheers,

Rich

I think it is exactly the same as the 360 version.

Steam has stopped working for me which is annoying...

That reminds me, Echoes was in Edge this month! Couldn't believe it, it was their Internet Game Of The Month!!

Kotaku and Edge not bad going eh?

So how do you play this game successfully then?

Right now, I much prefer the DB Pro-written, freeware Echoes by Mono. Geometry Wars is no fun when a game never lasts much longer than 2 minutes

Geometry Wars is best played with a dual-analog controller, by the way. But I distinctly remember dying within a few minutes too, but then you start to get better and pretty soon you're racking up a million or more points.

The demo version last for 3 minutes which i play at my local gamestop when i get off work. I survive the whole 3 minutes but i only rack up like 170k in points, but still a fun as hell game.
