Holy crap this is the best looking game I've ever seen. It looks like it plays at a rock solid 60FPS too.

http://www.gametrailers.com/player/20757.html

Looks like a cutscene!

I can't put my finger on what sets it apart... maybe it's how smooth the animations are... or how much there is going on and still being so smooth...

Anyway it is mindblowing you have to watch it!

"Pre-Alpha"!

That looks the mutts' - I was sure it was gonna be yet another BFII clone, but it actually reminds me more of Killzone on the PS2, love the night vision too, looks like someones doing it right for a change.

Pre-alpha??!

I think they labelled it wrong, what they meant to put was "Final release version"

It's coming out on PC? Cool, well then, all the more reason to upgrade my PC (If I recall CoD 3 isn't out on PC or am I going crazy?)

Platform releases should depend on the publisher, not the developer. Or you would think.

Ah, I see, well then, cool, does that mean it'll be on Mac too because CoD2 was - well I suppose it really depends on Aspyr as opposed to infinity ward, but you know I'm still deciding which I should go for when I get a laptop for uni.

Urm.... This is CoD, so of course it looks like CoD. It doesn't make sense to say it looks like CoD, when it already is

I'm guessing he meant because it's different from the other CoD's as it's not set during the world war, with new technologies for your character and being a completely different war, one would expect it to change how the game plays but hasn't here.

Well, yeah, in that case it does look and feel like the older CoD's. I'm just wondering, are the badies the taliban ?

The lighting was awesome, it really enriched the atmosphere. There was a pervading sense of desperation, which was fantastic. I felt like it could be real combat. The NVGs were awesome. Hopefully they'll have a guy smoking in the dark in night vision, that was always a dead giveaway of a guard post

Or maybe like that scene from SWAT where they're shooting the playing cards with sniper rifles.

"Hostiles at 12 o'clock. Sir, they..they seem to be playing poker with their sniper rifles."
*sound of guns firing*
"The, uh, one you shot in the head was winning."

I liked the part where he's running up the stairs and there's the terrorist guy trying to stab the marine.
It's like, "Get him off me, get him off me!" "Okay,Okay!Die n00b!1!!!!1111". lol.

But yeah...this game is awesome...*drools*

Looks quality. I didn't like that particular scene, but I'd imagine there'll be plenty of good ones.

Watch the Lighting And Effects Interview, they explain a bit about what theyve done to make it looks so good.

''The following trailer consists entirely of actual gameplay.''

As great as the video looks, I have to question that statement at the start - just before they show us absolutely NO gameplay footage at all, just cut scene footage. I can tell because there's no fricken gun on the screen . If it had said ''The following trailer consists entirely of engine rendered cut scenes'' then that would make more sense, and I wouldn't be making this post .

They have always done the cutscenes from the game engine, wouldn't surprise me if this one isn't the same, sure looks it.

I can see what you're saying though Van.
