Hey

Well as some may know im starting a model pack for FPSC and it consists of crates and all...

I maked my models in Lightwave 3D 9 and sized them to be 1.5 meters on the X, Y and Z.
I imported them into Milkshape then Exported them again as .X
Created a Texture for it and thumbnail. And i use the .FPE from the Modle Pack 3 Crare (BigCreat01) and edited it to suit my crate.

I loaded up FPSC and tyed to put my model in and it was microscopic. I could see it but hardly anything. Just a small box... Really small..

I edited the .FPE untill the scale of the bax was 20,000 and then it was just right.

Even then i rendered and the texture of the box was just black.

Please help me.

Sounds strange...

Have you looked in Milkshape if all the polys were facing outside or did you use Reverse Vertex Order?

Then your saying you use

I am like going wow what an expense to just make crates. MagicFPS from uberdroid.com for the cost of I believe 15 bucks you can make crates all day long with this program with no modeling skills what so ever and it already imports everything you need to FPSC for you.

Hope this helps with what your doing.

You can make crates with Entity Maker and it's free. There are free/low cost modeling programs out there as well.

Perhaps you forgot to set the scale on the direct-x export options from the default 0.1 ot 1.0?
